At first glance it would appear that the Apple StyleWriter Pro took a step back in printing technology, on account of its slower printing speeds (2 pages per minute black and white and 0.5 pages per minute colour). However, the StyleWriter Pro was actually ground breaking for Apple’s line of inkjet printers in both technology and print quality. Instead of using a combined colour cartridge, the StyleWriter Pro used separate ink cartridges for each of its three colours: cyan, magenta and yellow.
